Wild Oats, Avena Sativa

Wild Oats primary action is as a harmonizer for the CNS and ANS with adaptogenic effect when faced with extreme physical or mental stress. It has a calming but not sedative effect and stimulates appetite.

Why Lauren Oats Gemmo

I so love the rooting sensation that arrives after a few days of microdosing Oat.  It is a bit slower to show its effect than other Central Nervous System Harmonizers, so be patient,  but none give this sense of groundedness in the face of turbulent time.

Oat Plant

Oat is the only extract from a plant from the Poaceae family.  An herbaceous plant native to Southeast Europe or West Asia and now widespread. It was the appearance and later cultivation of cereals that allowed humans to stabilize. Oat grain has a high nutritional value with an average of 7% fat, 13.5% protein and 60% carbohydrates.

In the Middle Ages, Oats were used to treat liver abscesses and gout. It is only in the 19th century that some European doctors brought to light its fortifying, diuretic, laxative, calming and relieving properties.
