Tamarix is an extremely efficient tonic for blood, stimulating the production of cells that lack a nucleus (red blood cells & platelets)

Why Lauren Loves Tamarix Gemmo

I simply love the way Tamarix comes to the rescue, resolving the body’s ability to absorb iron.  It can turn around pregnancy or postpartum anemia in no time.

Tamarix Shrub

This graceful hardy shrub is native to the Mediterranean region to central Asia and northern China.  It has deep-ranging roots and long, slender branches with numerous small, gray-green, scalelike leaves. Tamarisk can grow as high as 25 feet ( 8 mtrs.) tall.. Tamarisk grows in dense, nearly impenetrable thickets and is well-adapted to alkaline soils. It is a phreatophyte, a plant that mines the water table and a mature tamarisk can uptake nearly 200 gallons of water a day. A threat to groundwater this deceptively innocent shrub is also an invasive species. considered  The manna, the galls from the trees and the wood have all been used in medicine in a variety of countries for centuries.
