Rowan, Sorbus Aucuparia
Rowan is a harmonizer of the movement of lymphatic fluids and blood. It promotes fluidity of blood and protects veins, reducing congested states. Its resolves congestion of fluids in the head, restoring tissues in the ear and eardrum and stagnation of fluids in the legs.

A mediterranean tree from 45 to 60 feet (15 to 20 meters) tall, it grows in warm, south-facing places since it requires a lot of light. It grows slowly but for a long time since it can live up to 600 years. The extensive root system of Rowan can be compared to the network of our circulatory systems, lymphatic and vascular.
