Blackberry, Rubus fructicosus
1.7 fl oz (50 ml) - Young Shoot Extract
A deeply restorative extract used in full doses once elimination has been optimized to regenerate tissue on a cellular level particularly in the lungs, kidney, and uterus.
Why Lauren loves Blackberry Gemmo:
I am so impressed by the deep rejuvenating qualities of this extract.
The Blackberry Vine
Native to most of Europe this aggressive deciduous throned shrub is a seeker of well-drained areas and sunlight. It thrives in very acidic to very alkaline soil and can often be found tangled in hedgerows with Dog Rose. Well recognized for attracting bees, beneficial insects, birds, butterflies, and other pollinators, the nectar and pollen-rich flowers support a wide array of wildlife. Long known for its healing qualities, Pliny the Elder (1st Century AD), mentions it in his encyclopedia “Natural History”, an antidote against snake and scorpion bites, and advised it to heal wounds.
