Oak Tree
The majestic ruling tree of the woods,the mighty Oak grows up to 90’ tall and may live 1,000 years or more. It loves a sunny position and is called “the tree of light” in some cultures. Though it likes moist ground, it is indifferent to soil type. The tree roots are as deep as the tree is tall and they form an extensive root network.
This is a sacred tree to the Druids, they often worshiped in Oak groves. The tree is a symbol of strength and endurance. In French the name is chêne, meaning spirit-similar to Shen in TCM
