Hops, Humulus Lupulus
1.7 fl oz (50 ml) - Extract of Hops
Hops, Humulus Lupulus
Hops is a sedative harmonizer of the Central Nervous system. When microdosed its primary action is on the GABA receptors, the neurotransmitters that send chemical messages through the brain and the nervous system, regulating communication between brain cells. It is also a harmonizer of the autonomic nervous system and the endocrine system.
Why Lauren loves Hops Gemmo
Try a microdose of Hops extract and you will quickly experience why I love this extract. What a powerful and soothing harmonizer this is for these current stressful times.
Hops Bine
Technically a bine rather than a vine, Hops is a climbing perennial with two vines growing 10- 30 feet ( 3-10 m) in length. The shoots grow very rapidly, and at the peak of growth can grow 20 to 50 centimeters (8 to 20 in) per week. It is its use of suckers for attaching itself that classifies it as a bine. Humulus lupulus flowers in July and August with petalless clusters arranged as cone-like spikes. The small, green, cone-like fruit appears from August through October.
Within the Restoring Immunity System
Nervous System Support
As a harmonizer for the central and autonomic nervous system, consider it when challenged in regulating the autonomic nervous system, for sleep disturbances. Also as an excellent support for those tapering off antidepressants under the care of their practitioner.
The lack of safety or instability is often sensed as a separation from the physical body.
Elimination Support
No direct effect.
Alkalizing Support
Consider in full doses for symptoms involving the endocrine system.
Acute Support
None known.
