Magnolia, Magnolia grandiflora
1.7 fl oz (50 ml) - Extract of flower buds
Magnolia, Magnolia grandiflora
Magnolia boosts the functions of the respiratory & digestive systems, resolving inflammation of mucosa due to allergic or infectious states. In microdose it also acts as a harmonizer for the central nervous system regulating dopamine levels leading to a calming effect.
Why Lauren loves Magnolia Gemmo
I love that Magnolia is yet another extract to consider as support for the Central nervous System and I look forward to learning more about its offerings in the future.
Magnolia Tree
This gorgeous deciduous tree grows to 60-70 feet (20 m) in height. The bark is thick and brown, and the leaves are broad and oval in shape. Native of West Hupeh, China it is found in alpine and hilly areas. It can thrive in semi-shade or full sun but prefers moist soil.
The highly aromatic bark is stripped from the stems, branches, and roots and used in traditional Chinese medicine, where it is known as hou po and used to eliminate damp and phlegm, and relieve distension
